I live 3 1/2 hours away from my sister, who is a resident at Goose Creek Manor. I would like to offer words of reassurance that I know the staff truly cares for her well-being. This makes all the difference to me!
They cook the kind of food I would cook for my own family, they communicate medical concerns, and updates, as well as follow up with the concerns, scheduling, and updates.
The environment is open and clean, as well as an open door feel for the residents and families to communicate anytime!

I have had the pleasure to visit Goose Creek Manor several times over the past few months. I must say, there has been a huge improvement since its been under new ownership and management: the food is better, activities are much better, Residents are out and about. I have yet to detect any offensive odor, or see a Resident look dirty. Whatever they are doing...keep it up! Kudos to the new owners and the new Executive Director!!

“My father lived here for nine years and it has really changed life for the better. He is on a very good schedule. He seems so much more happier than living by himself. The center has a lot of men and women that are residents. The Director has worked personally in each department and then moved up through the ranks and got State and Nationally Certified to operate this facility. They do themed activity events every month and Sundays, they have a sermon with praise songs. They also have residential meetings for updates and feed back on things that need attention. The staff are quick to listen and help make changes accordingly as needed. The food is fantastic! He goes for walk around the building area and they have big patio that they can sit out on and drink lemonade in the evenings. Overall, everyone I see as far as staff seems talkative and engaged with the residents. They have local physician that comes each month to take care of the residents. Their medication is filled by pharmacy. If there is an Emergency EMS will be called immediately! The owner of this facility believes in his staff and his residents and is always willing to help! I would highly recommend this facility for anyone whose family is in need of the benefits and services of Assistance Living. “
